On November 1, 1959, Jacques Plante was the first hockey goaltender to don a face mask as protection when he returned from the locker room after stitching his broken nose. Ever since then, the face mask evolved to become a helmet and cage combination that was mandatory for all goaltenders. 

Relentless

Joe Montana was considered unfit for the NFL, getting word about being too small or not strong. However, he was the turning point as he changed the way football was played with the historic moment “The Catch” where he threw the game-winning touchdown.

Perseverance

The Vegas Golden Knights were an expansion team with many unwanted players and carried many low expectations. They shocked everyone by going against those expectations, reaching the Stanley Cup Finals in their first season and gaining the 5th best record in the NHL.
